Los espectadores que acudan el próximo 21 de julio a la Plaza de Toros de El Plantío a disfrutar del II Burgos FMX Motocross Freestyle Internacional 2007 podrán contar con una muestra del relevo generacional en el Freestyle europeo.
El actual campeón de España de Freestyle, José Miralles (apodado El Loco), primer español en realizar un backflip en a tierra a la perfección, se medirá con la frescura de la nueva hornada en la figura del jovenísimo Thomas Paget, que es la nueva sensación francesa en este deporte y viene de ganar recientemente un Freestyle internacional en Gran Canaria, una auténtica revelación de la actual temporada. Es el autor del truco backflip cliffhanger largo y junto con su hermano Charles Paget, son los riders que mayor progresión han tenido en los últimos seis meses a nivel europeo.
El italiano Stefano Minguzzi y el francés Manu Troux representan la veteranía, ambos llevan en este deporte desde el año 1997 y puede que estén ya en sus últimas temporadas. Troux fue el primer europeo en hacer el long slip superman. Respecto a Minguzzi, de buen grado ofrecerá un amplio repertorio de figuras y acrobacias que nos dejarán boquiabiertos.
El catalán Eugenio Zafra se encuentra en su segunda temporada y subiendo el nivel en cada evento, recientemente ha incorporado el Backflip a su repertorio. El alicantino Víctor Córdoba, también se encuentra en su segunda temporada de Freestyle y en progresión.
Raúl Lerenam (alias El Radical) se ha codeado con los mejores pilotos de esta especialidad. En la modalidad de Stunt, con una trayectoria de más de cuatro años dedicándose profesionalmente, ha realizado multitud de shows con los mejores stuntmans internacionales.
Todos comparten una pasión por el motor y por la locura a varios metros de altura.
