¿Qué es un freestyle? El freestyle llega a España de la mano de los exitosos supercross celebrados en la época veraniega. Al término de estos espectaculares eventos y con la presencia de las estrellas americanas, se empezaron a realizar concursos de saltos con el único objetivo de dar rienda suelta a la mente de estos osados pilotos para lograr un mayor espectáculo en estas carreras. De esta manera el Supercross conseguía mayor afluencia de público cada vez, así como lo iba haciendo la espectacularidad de los saltos.
